Why the Swan?

“The swan represents the grace of natures beauty,” as told on a documentary on. Wild swans can be found in many parts of the world. Swans can also be found in the mythologies of different cultures. The most significant aspects of the swan to us, come from the fact that they live in Alaska’s wilderness, and the spiritual meanings of the swan. The swan represents the height of natures beauty, and they’re meant to inspire in you the height of your own beauty and health.

Many of us live in Alaska because there is something different about it here. It's pristine and truly feels like the last frontier everyday. Living here I know that I will regularly have cleaner air, clean and plentiful water, and usually a parking space; things that can be scarce in many suburban areas of the United States. I believe people of Alaska feel strengthened by the raw and abundant, natural beauty we are blessed to be a part of here. This is something beyond what we’ve been taught to believe about ourselves, it’s primal, it’s our connection to the earth. Alaskan’s ought to be able to understand the underpinnings of the Chinese Medicine, and the way acupuncture works, because it is, in the same way as Alaska, natural and has value in it’s natural connection with the Earth.
